Head Trainer: Krystle Bridges

Krystle grew up in Knoxville, TN and started riding when she was 8 years old at horse camp.    Shortly after beginning riding she "caught the bug" and started showing competitively when she was about 13.  She trained with Holli Adams of Tryon, NC through the majority of her junior career with her horses, Make Me Smile, Three's a Crowd, and Simplicity.   She competed in both the hunter and jumper rings at A and AA shows with her biggest accomplishments coming from top 10 finishes in multiple mini prix classes throughout the south east with Simplicity.  She continues her showing career as a professional with her young horses in the hunter ring.
Krystle has always dreamed of owning a barn with a large lesson program.  Her vision included having students hanging around the barn because it's their happy place.  She started teaching in 2010 upon graduating from Maryville College with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education with a focus on exercise science.  Since teaching professionally, full-time Krystle has grown her program from 5 students in the beginning to over 70 students currently, with the help of her assistant trainer, Natalie.  They make a dynamic duo with each bringing different parts to the table.

Assistant Trainer: Natalie Miller

Natalie grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and began riding competitively around the age of 10.  She trained with Maria Kneipp of Kneipp Farm for all of her junior career.  As a young junior she competed in local OHJA and KHJA shows as well as A and AA rated shows.  Like most she started in the cross rails and short stirrup and then advanced into the pony divisions.  She competed at USEF pony finals with a couple of different mounts. Once moving on from the pony division she showed in the children's hunters and children's jumpers and dabbled a bit in the equation and medal rings.  Upon entering college she joined the University of Tennessee IHSA riding team where she competed for a few years as an open rider.  In addition to the riding team she also started as a working student at GK performance horses after proving herself to be useful there she eventually became an employee.  During her time at GK she worked with many young horses and sales horses and was able to show for the farm several times in A shows and City League Horse shows.  While working there she had the opportunity to ride with trainers such as Peter Leone and Christoph Schroeder.  Natalie began working at Sonny Brooke Stables in December of 2014, She teaches students from beginners to advanced.
